Happy Women's History Month!
Thanks to your vote, we now have a second samahan ng libro, or book club, Koleksyon ni Kelly, or Kelly's Collection. Kelly's Collection is a space for our Social Media Editor, Kelly N. Ritter (she/they), to choose a book for the month and explain the reason for their choice. This will be on an alternating basis, totaling to six books a year.
For the month of March, Kelly stated: "I have decided to choose Beloved by Toni Morrison as the first selection for 'Kelly’s Collection.' Toni Morrison celebrates the life of Margaret Garner through the story of her main character, Sethe, and her family. I hope to further honor these lives and the lives of all women by choosing to read this book during Women’s History Month."
Kelly and their team are off for the month of April, so check in with us again in May for Kelly's next pick.
