We wanted to start off 2020 with new additions to our magazine, and we're proud to announce the start of our humble book club. Our goal is to encourage readership of titles written by authors who are BIPoC.
Our January pick is In the Country: Stories by Mia Alvar. The nine tales feature the voices of the womxn and men of the Filipino diaspora. While each individual is unique in their own way, all explore the universal experiences of loss, displacement, and a yearning for connection. We hope you follow along with us as we read this book!
