Poetry by Fabrice Poussin

Stranger

She came from the mist

walking through the streets of

a great megalopolis unseen

she sought to become again.

On an unimaginable journey

large as the known universe

she moved swiftly from a site

to another world next door.

A taunting aura of gentle glow showed

a momentary glimpse of surprise

as she continued her discovery

within the odd grid of human days.

Aware of the destination’s treasure

shifting to the many faces of her search

she was close to the great completion

stranger in such familiar energies.

The city is hers permeating through

the illusory pores of the momentary shell

temple ornate with a-temporal answers

her identity inaccessible but to one.

Soon again she will depart this realm

to travel through infinite dimensions

immobile perhaps but unified with

the stars the prize hers forevermore.
