Poem by Sasha Monroe

Your Puerility

the way you dAnce to (unusual)

melodies

the way you (sing) with me

you cock your head

&

stick (out) your tongue

where do all these puerilities

(come from?)

because they (wake me)

but maybe

they (make you)

(or maybe)

they

wake

you

too

Sasha Monroe is a young student who uses poetry as a creative outlet, while also studying math and economics. Both of which are very strict fields of study, therefore Monroe is constantly in desperate need of an emotional escape. Monroe's desire for escape leads to poems that are generally more vague and freeform.
