Poem by Rani Regalado

Writer's picture: Marías at SampaguitasMarías at Sampaguitas

My love, I don't think I can break my own fall again.

Still, I will choose this winding road with you.

All these attempts yet I have fallen to the ground.

This complacent is all facade.

Scowling to just conceal the pain.

Faking happiness every rising and setting of the sun.

Even heaven is hell without you.

I wish you would let me take a chance to grow.

My love, I badly want to go home.
