Poem by Juliette Sebock

I love you

I am the one who's up all night thinking of you,

letting my imagination run wild with dreamscapes in some

other world, a microcosm of adoration, goddess

Venus, blue jeans and sun-streaked hair and a boy band rhyme scheme.

Every moment in these fantasies leads me back to you and me.

You look at me, as we coexist in these imaginings;

only us, the world is us and nothing but us and

under the star-speckled galaxy sky,

you say it out loud for the first time.
