Memory-

A sweet moment of forever,

In the palm of my hand.

A delicious breath of eternity,

Flows down my arm.

Forever young in my mind,

Mingled in the present,

Alive in the past,

Ancient in the present.

Monument to fears of old,

A collection of faded joy,

Album of expired sorrows,

A gallery of emotions,

Lost in yesterday.

Aspen Duscha is a coffee-loving poet who in addition to gathering books loves to gather words and discover the world around them.
