Poem by Adaeze I.

Far From Perfect

with honey cooled, smooth as death,

leaking from her drunk lips /

she is tilted, living mad

above us all.

a goddess amongst the bitter /

she wears her anger naked

for all to see.

and beneath the raw wounds,

black blood boils until she is

uncentered, finding solace only

in the outskirts.
