The Lake
The water
Still and adamant
Lies in its wintry
Basin
Deprived
Of the wisdom
Of the river,
Of the grandeur
Of the sea
Yet it captures
The beauty of reflection,
A timeless mirror
For the eye.
The Colour Of Seasons
Each season
Has a colour
Of its own
Taken from
Nature’s palette
And shot
On the canvas
Of the Earth.
In turns,
They are all
Summoned
To draw
The beauty
Of Time.
The Glory Of Nature
Nature
Wakes at dawn
And paints
A grand bouquet
Of dreams and wishes
To be treasured
In our hearts
Before sunset
Wipes away
All gloss and glitter
And night unfolds
Its dreary cloak.
The Lake
The water
Still and adamant
Lies in its wintry
Basin
Deprived
Of the wisdom
Of the river,
Of the grandeur
Of the sea
Yet it captures
The beauty of reflection,
A timeless mirror
For the eye.
